2025 Canada Games Team Tryouts

Sept 21-22, 2024 we will be holding tryout for the final 2025 Canada Games Teams training pod. The tryout will consist of fitness testing and two sessions of 5v5 competition. This pod will consist of 15-18 athletes who will train in Phase 1 as a group and compete in the D1 Men's and Ladies leagues in St John's. Phase 2 will consist of a final evaluation among those who are named to the pod at which time we will name the 12 players who are on the team along with 3 alternates.

Who can tryout? Born 2008 or later (this is for the 2025 Canada Games, which is U17 teams competing)

Tryout Dates/Times: Sept 21-22, 2024

Tryout Location: NLSC - 90 Crosbie Rd, St John's, A1B 3W4

Tryout Fee: $80 non refundable

                           Male Tryouts: Sept 21, 2024 11am-1pm (Fitness Testing), 3pm-5pm Sept 22, 2024 8am-10am

Female Tryouts: Sept 21, 2024 9am-11am (Fitness Testing), 1pm-3pm Sept 22, 2024 10am-12pm

How to register: To register for the tryout you will click the Register Here button below. If you have a RAMP registration account through another sport you can log into that same account to register for the tryout. If you do not please create a new account.

• Log into Ramp Registration system (click button below).
• Go to Participant and enter your information - if you haven't paid NLBA/Canada Basketball membership fees for the 2024/25 season you will be prompted to here. You only pay these once per season so you will not pay them again when you register for club or school basketball.
• Select NLBA Canada Games Pod Tryout Package and continue through the registration process.
